George S. Sziraki, Ed.D. most recently served as Superintendent for Placer Union High School District for 10 years. Over his 30+ year career, he has held several positions at Merced Union High School District, including Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services and Instructional Improvement, Associate Principal, Summer School Principal, and Social Studies Teacher. He also served as Principal and District Coordinator of Athletics for Ceres Unified School District. George has extensive experience relating to instructional leadership, staff development, board relations, finance, and strategic planning.

George currently serves as Interim Executive Director for the Small School Districts’ Association, and as Adjunct Professor and Cohort mentor in an MAELA and Doctorate Program.

George holds a BA in Social Science from California State University, Stanislaus and a Master of Arts in Educational Administration from National University. He received his Doctorate in Educational Administration and Leadership from the University of the Pacific.
